Policy Advocacy: Changing Sport Through Protective Policies

By writing and passing effective laws and changing policies, we can change the culture of sport. We can require safer environments, create clear standards for reporting and investigation, and make it safer for athletes to report and seek support.

Policy and systems change advocacy is one of the most powerful tools we have to create long-term change. Add your voice, and help us build a future where every athlete is safe, and every survivor has a path to justice.

Institutional Advocacy: Change Starts Now

Through institutional, policy and systems change advocacy, we collaborate directly with sport organizations, coaches, administrators, and survivor advocates to build cultures of safety and respect.

Survivors play a critical role in this work, helping organizations see where harm has occurred and where change is needed. If you need help advocating within your organization, contact us. We are here to help.

With tailored technical assistance, leadership support, and trauma-informed advocacy training, we help institutions adopt survivor-centered policies, strengthen accountability structures, and become proactive in prevention. By putting athlete survivor voices and experiences at the table of decision-making, sport can make meaningful long-term changes.

When institutions listen, evolve, and practice institutional courage, they become part of the solution.
